“My Middle School students help me be a better educator with their curiosity and desire to learn and expand their mathematical knowledge.”
Teaching Middle School math has been Sabina Laricchia’s P’21 passion since 1991. Sabina describes herself as a “Long Island girl.” She left home briefly to attend SUNY Oneonta and returned to get her master’s at Adelphi University. At Poly, she has taught math for Grades 6, 7, and 8 and advised many students in the Middle School Math Olympiads. Sabina is a great supporter of the Middle School Senate-sponsored Canned Food Drive, and her homeroom is the one to beat for most items collected. She is a loyal Blue Devils fan, cheering on teams in person or as a Facebook fan.
